AGD Systems brings next-generation ITS solutions to Traffex Road Expo Scotland

AGD Systems, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of ITS product solutions, will be exhibiting at this year’s Traffex Road Expo Scotland – 1-2 November 2017, at the Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh.

AGD’s new 350 Traffic Control Radar will headline its Traffic & Pedestrian Control showcase, which also includes the new wireless, IP-capable 645 Pedestrian Detector and the 318 Traffic Control Radar. These ITS products all deliver unprecedented ease of deployment, integration and setup to allow maximum flexibility for evolving traffic models.

Ian Hind, AGD’s Commercial Director, said: “These next-generation solutions are true game changers. User communication with AGD traffic and pedestrian control devices is wireless, making deployment easy and setup simple. And all three products employ WiFi AGD Touch-setup for quick configuration and zone or loop optimisation.

“The large zone 645 Pedestrian Detector delivers real-time video and its IP capability allows control rooms to receive the information they need to ensure optimal performance. The future is IP-driven because it allows control rooms to interrogate devices and make real-time changes on the street.

“We’re already getting brilliant feedback about our 645 Pedestrian Detector, which launched earlier this year. And our new multi-lane, multi-loop replacing 350 Traffic Control Radar with stationary detection has a very interesting product roadmap ahead of it. The 350 perfectly complements our 318 Traffic Control Radar: they will both deliver highly effective MOVA implementations in either single or multi-lane environments.

“We’re really excited to be bringing these cutting-edge traffic control solutions to Traffex Road Expo Scotland this November.”

AGD can be found on stand E22 at Traffex Road Expo Scotland 2017.
