AshakaCem is still growing and announced plans to add an additional 3MMT capacity over the next three years. The company has been participating in the economic growth and development of Nigeria for over three decades and will continue to do it.

Early 2018, SMT is expecting to deliver 15 more Volvo machines and trucks to work into the limestone quarry, essential raw material to produce cement.

This contract fits perfectly with the decision of Lafarge Holcim to externalise the ownership and maintenance of their equipment. The quality of Volvo products and the know-how of SMT, a full-service distribution company has been decisive in winning the confidence of Lafarge – Holcim and therefore this contract.

SMT offers a high rate of availability thanks to trained and qualified technical team for maintenance with extensive knowledge of supply chain and inventory management.
