Skyjack partners with a new supplier in the UAE

Linamar Corporation’s Skyjack division recently filled a tall order with growing UAE rental company Safelift LLC. The Abu Dhabi based rental company just added a number of Skyjack products to its line-up, making Skyjack one of their key suppliers.

“We selected Skyjack because they produce a range of strong and robust products, which are ideal for the region” says Wayne Taylor, managing director at Safelift LLC. The recent order encompassed SJ66 T straight booms, SJ46 AJ, SJ63 AJ, and the recently launched SJ85 AJ articulated booms, and a range of DC electric scissors. “[They] offer a good list of features including the latest technology in secondary guarding that some of our customers are now requesting as standard” Taylor adds.

The new SJ85 AJ provides a leading-class raised platform of 85ft (25.91m) combined with a 56ft (17.07m) reach. This unit offers the flexibility of an articulating boom and the speed of a straight boom with SPEEDYREACH™ versatility – allowing the operator to cycle between maximum platform height and ground level without lowering the riser section. For superior traction, Skyjack booms come equipped with an axle-based 4WD system and selectable rear differential lock, while EASYDRIVE™ direction sensing drive and steer controls eliminate operator confusion when rotating the machine.

Another selling point for Safelift LLC was the range of features included in Skyjack’s products. “[They] provide an excellent return on investment” says Taylor.

This order has been delivered to Safelift LLC’s new facility in Al Quoz, Dubai and enables Safelift to expand their offerings and ensure quicker turnaround times for their customers.

“This first significant investment in a new fleet, and the recent opening of our new facility in Dubai shows our commitment to customers going into 2018 and beyond.”
