Builtech Group acquires Majority Stake in Brion Group
In a significant strategic move, Brion Group, a prominent Swedish company specializing in technical services and installation solutions for buildings, has announced its acquisition by Builtech Group.
This acquisition also includes Nytorp Energy Group, UTK Activ El, and Trafiksystem i Väst. This landmark transaction aims to bolster Brion Group’s market position in Sweden and accelerate its growth plans across the Nordic region.
Strategic Expansion and Market Integration
The acquisition, pending regulatory approvals and set to be finalized in the coming weeks, provides Brion Group with a strategic advantage for further expansion within Sweden and the broader Nordic region. Both Builtech and Brion operate primarily within the B2B segment and are highly diversified across their end-user markets.
With extensive experience and expertise in establishing and integrating installation companies, Builtech Group sees Brion Group as an ideal partner. The integration process will not affect the daily operations of the companies involved, ensuring a seamless transition.
Anders Bådholm, CEO of Brion Invest, commented on the acquisition: “Consolidating the four Swedish companies under Brion Group’s umbrella is a logical next step that strengthens our market position. Joining Builtech Group will help us expand our geographical presence in the Nordic region. Both companies are diversified within the B2B segment and share the same values and visions. We look forward to a successful future.”
Maurice Frhr. v. Dalwigk, CEO of Builtech Group, added: “We are delighted to welcome Brion to the Builtech Group. As a well-established player in the market, Brion represents the perfect addition to support our growth strategy beyond the German-speaking market. While we speak different languages, we share the same vision – our employees are the heart of our companies. I look forward to a successful future as a strong corporate group.”
