Skyjack is heading to Shanghai for Bauma China, China’s leading trade fair in the construction, building material, and machine industry. With a display of access equipment chosen by many fleets across the globe, Skyjack is ready to put their best platform forward at this biennial event.

“With the 2017 launch of our SJ85 AJ, we now cover all core classes in a variety of product categories, and that’s what we’re bringing with us at this year’s event,” says Simon Cracknell, sales, operations, and market development manager for Skyjack Asia. “We’ll also have the first in the next generation of Skyjack’s DC scissors for a sneak peek at the redesigned ANSI machines.”

The Canadian manufacturer will have a fleet of articulating booms, DC electric scissor lifts, and a vertical mast with them at the event taking place November 27-30, 2018. Year over year, each of these product categories have seen a strong three year average growth in the Asia market. Product specifications for the equipment on display at Bauma China are:

  • SJ16 Vertical Mast Lift – working height of 21’7” (6.58m), and stowed height of 70.3” (1.79m) with an overall capacity of 500lbs (227kg)
  • SJIII 3219, 4632, and 4740 DC Electric Scissor Lifts – with working heights ranging from 25’ (7.62m) to working height of 45’5” (13.8m), overall capacities ranging from 550lbs (249kg) to 700lbs (318kg), all complete with roll out extension decks ranging from 3’ (0.91m) to 4’ (1.22m) and solid non-marking tires
  • SJ30, SJ63, and SJ85 AJ Articulating Booms – with working heights ranging from 35’9” (10.90m) to 91’ (27.24m), overall capacities ranging from 500lbs (227kg) to the SJ85 AJ’s dual platform capacity of 550/750lbs (227/340kg)

“We’ve spent a lot of time nurturing our relationships in this region and we’ve gained a larger customer base as a result of that service,” Cracknell says. “Our team is excited to showcase some of our core products at Bauma China and are looking forward to our continued success in this market.”

The team from Skyjack will be at outdoor booth number A.02 near Hall W1.
