Safety and more convenient PERI climbing technology at bauma 2019
The PERI climbing technology has become even safer and more convenient to use. The solutions presented by PERI at bauma 2019 follow a modular construction principle complete with a high degree of standardisation.
In climbing technology, PERI has been offering a wide range of systems for many years now, from simple, crane-climbed brackets through to complex self-climbing solutions. The latest innovations from the Weissenhorn-based company are the SCS solution for single-sided applications as well as the ACS Core 400 for large-sized building cores.
The SCS bracket – much more than “single sided”
PERI has developed the SCS Climbing System with a focus on one-sided applications and it is therefore used predominantly for this purpose – for dams, locks, pier heads and similar structures. Further developments naturally increase the versatility of the bracket system. Thus, the bracket can also be used with anchored wall formwork. For this, only a few additional components are required. In addition, a new angle adapter is available which ensures easy and fast construction progress including on circular structures.
The fact that the formwork carriage can also be used when realising round structures thanks to the use of this adapter saves valuable crane time during the moving procedure and thus significantly reduces the high construction costs. All in all, the bracket, with its large-sized platforms and high load-bearing capacity, offers numerous advantages in both civil engineering and building construction projects.
Synchronous climbing significantly increases safety levels
With the development of the ACS Core 400, PERI has developed an innovative solution by means of synchronously climbing the entire internal core formwork. This enhances safety levels for users through the absence of any leading edges. This principle is followed by further innovative solutions whose launch will be celebrated at bauma 2019.
