Atkins wins $40m BART contract for construction management services
Atkins, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, has been selected as prime consultant under a $40 million USD contract with San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) in California.
The five-year contract is to support on-call construction management services that will help update and enhance the BART transportation system, the fifth-busiest heavy rail rapid transit system in the United States.

Under the new contract, the project team will provide comprehensive, safety-focused construction management services to support projects across the BART system, including those funded through Measure RR, a $3.5 billion bond measure approved by BART district voters in 2016 to rebuild BART’s aging infrastructure.

- Environmental monitoring
