The global stage is set. With industry eyes firmly fixed on bauma 2025, CASE Construction Equipment is making waves in Munich, revealing a powerful new line-up of machines tailored to meet the evolving demands of modern construction. From cutting-edge electric models to custom-built specialist machines, the 180-year-old brand is proving it’s not just keeping pace with the future, it’s building it.

“Innovation is our foundation,” declared Fabrizio Cepollina, Vice President CE EMEA Region & Global Alliances. “It’s ingrained in our DNA. Since 1842, innovation has been our driving force, ensuring our continued vitality. For CASE, innovation means delivering practical, impactful solutions, products and services that directly enhance our customers’ businesses.”

CASE Leads the Charge in Electric Construction

One of the biggest talking points at bauma this year? CASE’s foray into electric construction. The brand’s electric range is built to deliver zero tailpipe emissions, near-silent operation, and fast charging — all without compromising performance.

With up to eight hours of runtime and instant torque delivery, these machines are game-changers for urban construction zones, noise-sensitive environments, and green-conscious clients. Whether operating in residential areas, hospitals, schools, or during night hours, CASE’s electric line-up opens doors to low-emission tenders and sustainability bonuses.

Full-Sized Electric Power

Partnering with MOOG, CASE developed the CX210ZQ, a heavy-duty, full-size electric excavator powered by ZQUIP modular battery systems. This clever setup allows for rapid battery swapping, meaning downtime is kept to a minimum while output stays consistently high.

“At CASE we listen to our customers’ evolving needs, and translate those insights into tangible solutions,” added Cepollina. “The service and product offerings we showcase at bauma 2025 combine innovative tech solutions developed by our R&D team with the expertise provided by Raven and Hemisphere companies.”

Smarter, Safer and More Efficient

CASE is taking big steps to redefine operator comfort and machine efficiency with its new flagship large wheel loader. The 1021G+ X-DRIVE marries intuitive design with serious muscle.

Equipped with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), this behemoth cuts fuel consumption and enhances driveability. The upgraded operator cabin features a premium seat with heating, ventilation, and a three-point belt. Rear object detection, click-and-dig automation, and electrically adjustable mirrors are just some of the highlights.

A large touchscreen interface and adjustable traction settings mean operators can fine-tune the loader’s behaviour to match job-specific needs. Efficiency just got a high-tech makeover.

Compact Power

The CX38D is CASE’s Swiss army knife for tight job sites. Despite its compact frame, this excavator packs a punch. It’s the 20th model in CASE’s mini and midi excavator lineup, and it’s loaded with features to improve accuracy and versatility.

With Hemisphere’s GNSS-enabled machine guidance and electro-proportional auxiliary controls, the CX38D lets operators complete tasks with surgical precision. Add that to its compact design and superior visibility, and you’ve got a machine built for cityscapes and high-traffic zones.

The Evolution of Versatility

Compact, quick, and endlessly capable, the CASE 580SV Evolution backhoe loader lives up to its name. Designed for operators needing fast travel, high lift capacity, and operator-friendly controls, this machine hits all the marks.

The upgraded Direct Drive transmission improves gradeability and reduces in-cab noise, while comfort steering lessens fatigue during long hours. New power boost and lift functions, coupled with a brake-enabled idle feature, give it a feel not unlike cruise control. Maintenance is a breeze, too, with improved radiator access.

CASE 421G Wheel Loader

On the smaller side of the loader family sits the CASE 421G — compact, agile, and packed with user-centric features. Perfect for job sites where space is tight but performance is non-negotiable, the 421G offers 97hp of punch without sacrificing comfort.

Operators enjoy a panoramic view from the cab, thanks to extensive glazing and a rear-view camera. With shift-on-fly transmission and seat-mounted controls, CASE has ensured this loader delivers maximum efficiency with minimum effort.

Bespoke Solutions from Sampierana

CASE’s Special Applications division, developed within Sampierana, is drawing attention with its tailor-made solutions for complex and constrained job sites. One standout is the CX135E XRD, touted as the world’s most compact high-reach demolition excavator.

With a retractable undercarriage and ability to operate a 700kg crusher at 13 metres, it’s ideal for demolition work in tight urban areas. Also featured is the CX24D mini excavator with a two-piece boom. This compact powerhouse offers improved lifting and digging capabilities while maintaining its small footprint — ideal for intricate excavation work.
