African Mining Week (AMW) 2026 returns to Cape Town from 14–16 October 2026, bringing together mining companies, governments, investors, financiers, technology providers and infrastructure specialists from across Africa and international markets.
The three-day event will examine the investment, policy, technology and infrastructure needed to develop the continent’s mineral resources, with critical minerals, beneficiation, project finance and regional supply chains among the central themes.
Alongside its conference programme, AMW provides a meeting point for companies developing mines, processing capacity, transport corridors, energy infrastructure and the technologies supporting modern mineral production.
Discussions will range from financing new projects and improving rail and port connectivity to strengthening African mineral value chains, giving delegates a broad view of the commercial and strategic developments shaping the continent’s mining sector.
