Hillhead 2028 will bring the quarrying, construction and recycling industries back to the spectacular working environment of Hillhead Quarry near Buxton, Derbyshire, from 27–29 June 2028. Widely recognised as the UK’s largest exhibition for these sectors, Hillhead combines a major international trade show with something conventional exhibition venues simply cannot replicate: the opportunity to see heavy equipment operating under genuine quarry conditions.
The 2026 edition set a new record with 627 exhibitors and 18,340 unique visitors, reinforcing Hillhead’s position as one of the industry’s most important meeting places.
Across three days, visitors can expect the latest developments in earthmoving, crushing and screening, materials processing, recycling, concrete, asphalt, digital technology and associated services, alongside Hillhead’s signature live machinery demonstrations. Its Quarry Face, Crusher Alley and dedicated processing and recycling areas allow manufacturers to put equipment through its paces rather than simply display it on a stand, giving contractors, quarry operators and equipment buyers a practical view of how new machines and technologies perform.
Following the record-breaking 2026 show, preparations are already under way for what promises to be another major gathering of the international heavy equipment industry in 2028.
